Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 11:00 AM. This allows our cleaning team enough time to ensure the “Nest” is spotless for every guest.
How do I access the property?
We use a convenient self-check-in system with a keypad. You will receive your unique access code on the morning of your arrival.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes! We provide free parking on the premises.
How many people can sleep in the unit?
The unit B is designed as a cozy retreat for 2 guests.
The unit A is designed as Sports teams stay 19 guests.
What kind of bed is in the unit?
Unit B features a brand-new “pop-up” sofa that is specifically designed for comfort. When fully extended, the sleeping surface is approximately 90”W x 80”D—making it slightly larger than a queen but a bit smaller than a king

The house features a variety of comfortable sleeping options across the three bedrooms to accommodate different group sizes:
- Master Suite: Features a spacious King-sized bed and Twin futon
- Egrets Snooze (Bedroom 2): Equipped with bunk beds, perfect for kids or extra guests.
- Herons Bunk (Bedroom 3): Also features a bunk bed setup.
- Game Room/Flex Space: Includes four twin futons for additional sleeping flexibility.
We also have Very comfortable couches in the living room if your group needs the extra space!”
Is there a full kitchen?
Unit B While it is a tiny home, it is well-equipped for cooking! We provide a new air fryer, Microwave, 2 hot plates, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker.
Can I cook outdoors?
Absolutely. We have a new outdoor griddle and picnic tables located near the screened-in gazebo—perfect for a “cookout” with a view.
Is there Wi-Fi and a TV?
Yes, we provide high-speed Wi-Fi. The unit is also equipped with a TV for your entertainment.
Is the property near the water?
Yes, Heron’s Nest is a peaceful slice of nature tucked away near the Delaware Bay. You can enjoy lake and bay access nearby.
What activities are available nearby?
The area is perfect for nature lovers. Many guests enjoy waking up for the sunrise, birdwatching, walking the local trails, or bringing their gear for an afternoon of paddling.
Is the gazebo Shared Space?
Yes, the gazebo is part of your dedicated outdoor space, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air
Are pets allowed?
Unit B To keep the space allergen-free for all guests, we have a no-pets policy.
Yes, Unit A is dog-friendly! Please let us know if you plan to bring your furry friend so we can prepare accordingly.
Can I host a party or invite extra guests?
We’re open to hosting your group! We just ask that any extra guests or parties be cleared with us first for approval. Just shoot us a message with your plans and we’ll let you know if we can make it work
Is smoking allowed on premises
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the tiny home.
Are there security cameras?
For your safety and the security of the property, there are exterior security cameras located on the premises. There are no cameras inside the living spaces.

Unit A is a spacious 3-bedroom house featuring a full kitchen and ample living space, perfect for families or groups.
What is the kitchen equipped with?
The house features a full kitchen with all the essentials you need to prepare family meals, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave.

Yes! both Units have included a washer and dryer, which is especially convenient for families or athletes staying for tournaments at DE Turf.
How close is the property to DE Turf Sports Complex?
We are located just minutes away from DE Turf, making this an ideal “home base” for families traveling for soccer, lacrosse, or field hockey tournaments.
Is there a smart devices in the home?
Yes. The home includes an Amazon smart device that allows guests to control lights and the TV using voice commands for added convenience.
If you prefer not to use it, you’re welcome to unplug the device at any time—the home will function normally without it.
